Garden of Medicinal Plants

A small bed of plants with a use in medicine has been started in Brunswick Square by the UCL School of Pharmacy in cooperation with the Brunswick Square gardening volunteers. Lavender, calendula, valerian and hypericum are among the attractive but useful plants recently put in, with  more being added as time goes on. A poster on the nearby noticeboard gives more information about the uses of each plant.

The bed is on the north-east side of the square next to the School of Pharmacy, so it makes a great link between the plants and the study of their medicinal properties.
